Educational Technology - My Background

I have been involved with Education Technology since 1998. My first exposure to the then young field came via a Computer Lab setting as a Paraprofessional (or Teacher Aide as some districts may call it). Since then I have held positions such as a Campus Computer Technician, a District Computer Technician, a District Systems Specialist and District Network Manager. I earned my Bachelor degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and my Master of Education degree from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. In the Fall of 2018 I will begin my journey to earning a Education Doctorate from Sam Houston State University. In the recent years I have presented at various educational technology conferences such as the TCEA Conference in Austin and the International Society for Technology in Education conference, or commonly known as the ISTE Conference.
